ABOUT GROUPS

Groups are core to the concept of getting woke and staying woke. An indivdiual won't be able to overcome the limitiations of our cognitive biases, and individiual intelligence seldom allows us to see the world around us clearly and understand the workings of the communities we are embedded into. The dialog in groups is what helps us to develop and tap into group and community intelligence — and thus to be woke.

SETTING UP NEW GROUPS

Set up New Group: Any GetWoke-StayWoke member can set up a new group. This includes defining the vision and mission of this group, inviting and managing group members, and moderating the dialogues of the group members. Groups can be associated with meetings, projects, and other events. The member who sets up a group becomes its administrator, who determines the rights other members have. The administrator can delegate administration rights to other group members.

MANAGING GROUPS

Modify an existing Group: ... The available modifications also allows to deactivate a group, which can be reactivated at a later point in time without loss of any data.

DELETING GROUPS

Delete an existing Group: Obsolete groups can be deleted, which results in all data specific to this group to be removed.
